Noey update

April 14th, 2008 (10:35 am)
worried

current mood: worried

So far this morning, the only update is that the police found the guy and he was trying to beat the red light.

*sighs* You guys, be careful, would you? Just, extra special careful. :( I love you all.

This'll be the post for today's updates. I'll update like I did the last post to keep everyone informed.

EDITED: her vitals are okay and she's out of the ICU and in a regular room so people can be with her as much as possible, but she still hasn't woken up.

The guy is arrested (probably on hit-and-run charges)

Flowers or whatever should be sent to her home, and if you need the address, please ask below and I'll lock the comment (I don't want to just put it out there on the web).

Her mom says Thank You to everyone for their care and concern. (Yet again, our little community shows how wonderful we are and how we all stick together. <3)

1:25 PM: Tenille just texted! SHE'S AWAKE!

happy

current mood: happy

let me just say that again for anyone who missed it on the last post:

Noey is awake as of 1:25 pm.

I'm sure I'll get more news soon, but for now the big thing is that she's awake!

Tenille is headed to the hospital now, so I asked her to be sure to give Noey all of our love.

_____

The phone just rang and when I picked up, there was a hesitant little "Hello?" NOEY CALLED! She's going to be in the hospital until Wednesday in all likelihood. She's not happy about that, but she knows it's needed. She's hurting horribly and they have her on pain meds, so she's loopy and fades off when talking, but she sounds like herself, if quieter.

Tenille was in the parking lot, and Noey was driving into work and had just taken off her seatbelt (she was right there at the parking lot). The guy ran the red light, hit the back end of her van and she went through the windshield. She says the last thing she remembers is undoing her seat belt. The body has a great way of blocking out the bad shit, huh? She told me she never wants to drive again, but give her a few weeks and she'll change her mind again, I'm sure. You can't keep that girl down (Though life, this last year, has been trying-apparently!)

She sends her love to everyone and said thanks for the love and support!

She's going to call again tomorrow, and I'm sure she'll text if I text her. I'm gonna let her rest as much as possible though.

<3333!
